
Introduction to Web Page Design Using Macromedia Dreamweaver

This course is an introduction to the use of Macromedia Dreamweaver within web page design. An outline of the course is included on this sheet. You should already have a basic knowledge of Apple Mac/PC computers. The course will enable you acquire the skills for further study, such as our OCR CIT Advanced Web Design course.
Assessment
There are no examinations. Assessment is by short assignment and exercises done during the taught class and workshop. You will need to complete your own web page based on the session exercises.
Aims of the taught sessions:
To introduce participants to the BASIC elements of web page design and construction.
Objectives
1/ To start to develop good practice in page layout and design
2/ To appreciate Multimedia components of the internet web page
3/ To be able to use elementary features of a WYSIWYG editing and composition package
